Process Discovery + iGrafx

Discover what your processes actually are, not what people say they are

Every audit, automation and improvement you run is built on a description of your process. The real one, the exceptions, the workarounds, the undocumented handoffs, was never captured. IGX360 discovers how work actually happens and reconciles it into one verified model, so what you improve is the process that exists.

The stakes

What it costs to work from a description

When the map is a description, every downstream decision inherits its blind spots. Improvement programmes fix the documented process and the problem recurs, because the real one was never touched. Automations break on the exception nobody wrote down. Audits pass a model that isn't what happens on the floor.

How it works

How process discovery captures the real process

Getting to the actual process, not the described one, takes three inputs most documentation skips:

  1. What people do, not just what they say. Interviews and walkthroughs surface the workarounds and exceptions that never reach an SOP, the "when X happens we actually do Y" that is the real process.
  2. What the systems record. Event logs and system data show the paths actually taken, and how often, including variants nobody would have described.
  3. Reconciliation into one model. Interviews, system evidence and existing documents are reconciled into a single canonical model, with conflicts resolved and the source of each element traceable.

IGX360 brings iGrafx, Visio, SOPs and system evidence into one model, so the current state is captured once and verified, not re-described every time someone asks.

Proof

Not a claim. A verified model.

Discovery output isn't another diagram to argue with. Every element traces to its source, the interview, the log, the document, with a confidence score where evidence is thin. You can see where the described process and the real one diverge, and by how much.

Objections

Questions worth asking before you commit

Isn't this just process mapping?

No. Mapping draws what you're told. Discovery reconciles what you're told with what the systems and documents actually show, and flags where they disagree.

How long does discovery take?

Scoped to a defined process area, it lands a verified current-state model in weeks, not a multi-month documentation project.

What do you need from us?

Access to the people who run the process and the systems that record it. We handle the reconciliation.
